Ishita Rahman, DMD, FICOI
Dr. Rahman is a general dentist who provides comprehensive care to patients with high anxiety and acute dental disorder. To her patients, she is the “bite doctor” for all things orofacial.
Dr. Rahman is a sedation-trained dentist with surgical training to place same-day implants and provide some advanced periodontal care. She uses latest technologies to provide teeth-in-a-day and full-arch restoration services.
Dr. Rahman’s journey in dentistry started with a surgically focused general practice residency at Vidant Medical Center in North Carolina. She started her professional career in the Raleigh-Durham area, where she worked in various offices until she and her family moved to the Annapolis area in late 2019.
Dr. Rahman has found her passion in treating patients with temporomandibular joint disorder (TMD). Her long-term goal for every patient is to achieve a bilaterally balanced occlusion through a combination of gnathologics and neuromuscular dentistry.
Dr. Rahman attended Mount Holyoke College for her undergraduate education, followed by a research stint at Harvard Medical School. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2015, then completed advanced training through a general practice residency in North Carolina at the Vidant Medical Center.
Dr. Rahman is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) and is currently pursuing a Mastership. She has received advanced training and continuing education courses from Simply Implant Institute, Occlusion Connections™, The Nash Institute for Dental Learning, Airway Health Solutions, DOCS Education, SPEAR, CEREC Doctors (CDOCS), Sleep Group Solutions, Triangle Dental Institute, and many more. She is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Maryland State Dental Association.
Dr. Rahman’s time outside work is filled with a thousand “mommy!”s from her human, feline, and canine kids.
Maria Colucciello, DDS
Dr. Colucciello is a general dentist with over four decades of training and experience in providing comprehensive dental services to patients of all ages. She is a 1982 graduate of the University of Maryland School of Dentistry.
Dr. Colucciello enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has a special interest in providing beautiful smiles through cosmetic dentistry. She is also an expert in providing sleep apnea relief through custom-developed appliances.
Dr. Colucciello has been voted by her peers as a “Top Dentist” in the Annapolis area for many years. She is an active member of the community and volunteers her time to serve on the Board of various charitable causes. Her professional affiliations include the American Dental Association (ADA), the Maryland State Dental Association (MSDA), the Anne Arundel County Dental Society (AACDS), Chesapeake Implant Study Club, Swain Dental Study Club, and Donated Dental Society.

Rachel Rossbach, RDH
Rachel graduated from Fortis College in 2014 with an Associate of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. Previously, when Rachel was in high school, she was part of the team at West Annapolis Family Dentistry as a dental assistant. Since then, she continued her education with her hygiene degree and we are thrilled to have her back at West Annapolis Family Dentistry, treating our patients with her knowledgeable and expert care.
In her spare time, Rachel enjoys watching her favorite hockey team, the Washington Capitals.
